Talking. is a self-help companion, not a therapist, lawyer, or relationship oracle. We give you a reading based on text patterns — not a verdict on another person. Use what feels right. Leave the rest.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Talking. If you're under 16 in the EU, or under 13 in the US, you need a parent or guardian's permission. Don't use Talking. to decode conversations of minors you aren't personally responsible for.
Paste conversations that belong to you — threads you're part of. Don't paste conversations you got illegally, stole, or shouldn't have access to. Don't paste content that is hateful, threatening, sexually explicit involving anyone under 18, or that breaks the law in your country.
The interest score, ghost forecast, attachment-style read, flags, and reply suggestions are produced by AI models reading text patterns. They are directional, not diagnostic. Do not use them to justify harming yourself or anyone else. If you are in crisis, please contact a mental-health professional or your local emergency services.
Pro features are sold through the Apple App Store. We currently offer two subscription options: a monthly plan and a yearly plan. The prices shown in the app are the prices you pay (prices may vary by country and may include local taxes).
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — we do not see your card.
If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, email us and we will help you secure it. You can delete your account and everything associated with it from inside the app, or by emailing support@heytalking.com.
We don't promise the readings are right. We don't promise the app will be online every minute of every day. We don't promise your crush will text back. We don't promise to keep every feature forever — we may change, improve, or remove features as the app evolves.
We will not sell your chat content. We will not train public AI models on your decoded conversations. We will be clear and upfront if any of that ever changes.
Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, break, disrupt, or abuse the service. Don't use Talking. to harass, stalk, or threaten anyone. Don't use it to process data about people who haven't consented to be part of your conversation. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.
The app, the brand, the design, and the underlying code are owned by Talking. You keep full ownership of whatever you paste into the app. By pasting content, you give us only the permission we need to show you the decode and your timeline.
If something breaks, email us and we'll do our best to fix it. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. None of this limits consumer rights you have in your country.
We may update these terms. If the changes matter, we'll show you in-app before they take effect. Continuing to use Talking. after changes means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This does not override consumer-protection laws in your home country that give you stronger rights.
